Dentures & Partial Dentures

Dentures in a glass of water sitting on a person's handOther options to replace a larger number of teeth include dentures and partial dentures.

There are two options in this category of treatment with which we can assist:

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are an option to replace teeth when multiple teeth are missing in a row, but there are still natural teeth present. Partial dentures are retained by attaching to the natural teeth that are present, which allows the partial denture to be more secure and gives you better ability to chew. There are multiple styles of partial denture which can be fabricated, and we are able to discuss these options to create the right solution for you.

Implant Denture or Overdenture

An implant denture is similar to a full denture in that it replaces a full arch of teeth. However, instead of resting on your gums for support, it attaches to several implants for increased stability. One of the biggest hurdles with a full denture is that they have the potential to move around, which can force you to rely on your cheeks, tongue, or denture adhesive to keep it in place. Having implants to which you can attach your denture eliminates these variables allowing for greater stability and function than a traditional full denture.
